March is fast approaching and you know what the means for us north easterners – it’s time to start wearing fewer and fewer layers and hopefully (fingers crossed) BALLET FLATS! I swear my middle name is “Ballet Flats” You can’t go wrong with them. So cute, comfy and ladylike. I am swooning over these cute yellow suede flats – ADORABLE! The change in season usually means a change in eating habits for me – less heavy foods like stews + rice and more salads + smoothies. Quinoa is a nice in between grain. It’s hearty but still on the light side. I can’t wait to try it with corn!

February 26, 2013 at 3:32 pm (113 days ago)Today I am eating eggless egg salad – it’s actually firm tofu, vegenaise, red bell pepper, scallions, 1 small carrot, freshp parsley, celery, onion, tumeric, pickle relish, prepared mustard, sea salt, garlic powder, black pepper….YUMMY!
