July was beautiful, wasn’t it? Well, AUGUST is here and she demanding that we have BIG FUN and preserve our BIG FUN in photos. Yeah, she told me to tell y’all that.

Ok, here is the plan: the list above is for you to interpret as you please. There are no rules, no right or wrong ways to take pictures.  All I ask is that you take at least one photo each day using the word-of-the-day as your guide and post your picture somewhere so we can see. I’ll be on instagram: beatriceclay so do follow me. Thanks.

You can use your cell phone camera, your point and shot, your fancy smancy DSLR or **swoon** your POLAROID (be still my beating heart; BC loves her some Polaroids). Use what you got, your imagination, your heart, your passion, your curiosity, your courage… get down low, or up high, get lost, explore…GO MAKE MAGIC!!

Now you know there is a twist, right? This is not your average photo-a-day challenge.  Ahem, did you read the caption on the pretty little Polaroid above?  HA! We will write stories!  You know that saying, a picture is worth a thousand words, well I only need you to give me 1 word or 2 sentences or 3 pages about your picture.  All you folks who want to write stories but are terrified of the blank page (**raises hand**), here is your chance to ease into it!

Oh, 1 + 2 + 3 = 6 –> six word stories are FAIR GAME (I wrote one on the list below…hehehe).

You can write one word stories or six words stories for all of your photos for the whole month or you can mix it up and challenge yourself to a full-out 3 page short story. Feeling brave? Send me your story, I’ll read it and I just may post it here on the blog as part of my new SUNDAY STORIES series (also starting in AUGUST!)  Your call.  Just have fun and MAKE MAGIC MMK!!
